      The First Day:

The opening of the conference starts in the Hall of Al-Mansour Social Care Foundation.

 

   The Second Day:

The academic papers are to be discussed at Imam Al-Kadhum College.

The IKC is one of the governmental academic institutions that is affiliated to the Shiite Endowment Diwan. In addition to its headquarter in Baghdad, it has nine campuses in other Iraqi provinces. It offers accredited bachelor and master degrees in various academic majors (Islamic, humanities and scientific)

The college was established in 2004 as “College of Islamic Sciences”. But, it had undergone a number of changes until it was finally named as “Imam Al-Kadhum University College for Islamic Sciences” after the issuance of its particular Act No. 16 of 2009 by the Iraqi Council of Representatives, which was approved by the Republic Presidency Council and published in Al-Waga’a Al-Iraqia Gazette / Issue No. 4133 dated 17^th August 2009

 

 

The Conference Domains:

1.  History is the pillar of the present and future.
2. The humanitarian trends in the Islamic thought and its impact on fighting terror and extremism
3. Quranic and Hadith studies are paths for the start-out and modernism.
4. Mass communication, social changes, and media coverage (understanding audience and their feedback).
5. The modern development in the legal concepts.
6. Recent trends in language, literature, translation and culture.
7. The role of the financial institutions to attain the objectives of the sustainable development.
8. The role of Shariaa to keep up with the contemporary reality.
9. The aspects of the contemporary political turns: studies in thoughts, theories and practices.
10. Childhood towards a better future.

 

 

Aims of the Conference:

1. Identifying the negative phenomena and attempting to process them.
2. Keeping up with the cognitive turns in all aspects.
3. Promoting the scientific research with standard methods.
4. Introducing the research in IKC to other governmental and private universities through cooperative research participation.
5. Strengthening the bonds between education and scientific research.
6. Spreading knowledge and exchanging the expertise among the specialists to form a realistic vision.
7. Reaching outcomes that can benefit the public.

 

Conditions of Participation:

1. The submitted papers must not previously be published or used to participate in a conference.
2. The paper must meet all requirements of the standard scientific research.
3. The paper must range from 20-25 pages, Simplified Arabic, 14 font size for the body, 12 font size for the margins, and line spacing must be single space.
4. All papers are subject to academic evaluation to be accepted for publication.
5. The deadline for submitting the abstracts is on Sunday 10 March, 2019.
6. The deadline for submitting the final full version of the paper is on Sunday 10 March, 2019.

The abroad participators in the conference shall bear the costs of visa and flight; the conference management shall bear the costs of accommodation, food, and local transportation (from and to the airport)
