The Department of Political Science at the College of Imam Al-Kadum (pbuh) in cooperation with quality assurance and university performance hold a symposium entitled Power and Sovereignty in the 21st Century
Based on their moral and academic message and its moral connection to society, its classes and standards Continuing education systems and in cooperation with the Department of Political Science at the College of Imam Al-Kadim (pbuh) a scientific symposium on the topic (strength and sovereignty in the twenty-first century), during which two research papers were presented by Dr. Ali Al-Issami who presented his lecture Entitled “Developing the Concept of Power in the 21st Century”, while another research paper was presented by Dr. Alaa Abdel-Wahab, entitled (Absolute and Relative Sovereignty in the 21st Century), with the management of: Dr. Zahir El-Ashiqi.
Al-Ashiqi said in a statement singling out the relations and information of the college : “We were keen to hold such important seminars that would enhance the awareness aspect in society, stressing that the symposium came up with several recommendations that will be submitted to the competent authorities to benefit from them.”
The symposium dealt with the most prominent risks of external aggressions against the sovereignty of the country and its negative effects on the individual and society, as well as discussing the problems and effects that are left behind.
The discussion also presented a number of treatments and recommendations that would address this problem, which would contribute to taking political steps that would immunize the country from any external aggression.
On the sidelines of the symposium, the Dean’s assistant for scientific affairs honored for postgraduate studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Wadheh, Professor Fakhir Al-Zuhairi on the occasion of his retirement
