IKC celebrated the superlative achievement of breaking the Guinness World Record by raising the tallest banner (4000m). The achievement was carried out by Mahmoud Jasim, a student in Sharia Department – IKC.
The college honored him for his great success and the celebration was conducted in the presence of Dr. Khansa Al-Bahadili, the Dean’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Oday, the Dean’s Assistant for the Students’ Affairs, as well as the heads of the academic departments and fellow students. Dr. Al-Hashimi gave a speech on the behalf of the dean Dr. Ghani Al-Khakani and confirmed the fatwa of Iraq’s Shiite Regilious Leader, Grand Ayatollah Al-Sistani for defending Iraq and people.
Mahmoud was highly praised and appreciated for being the current superlative G.W. record holder and reward with a certificate for his efforts to promote the IKC name worldwide.
