The religious representative of the head of the Shiite Endowment Diwan / Dean of the College of Imam Al-Kadhim (A.S.), Assistant Professor Dr. Ghani Al-Khaqani, discussed with the official spokesman of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahaf, the generalization of the work culture and career development of the Diwan staff and the college in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its related institutions.
During his visit on Tuesday, 4/2/2020, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and meeting with a number of its administrative leaders and general managers, he called for activating the mechanisms of joint construction work and employing mutual experiences to serve the public interest, adding that the discussions witnessed consistency in visions and agreement in views, especially those that Related to enhancing the skills of the Diwan and the college employees in the field of international dealing and its administrative and diplomatic affairs of the press the mechanisms that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will adopt in relation to Iraqi citizens and communities in China that are witnessing the spread of the deadly Corona virus outbreak, specifically in Wuhan – the number of 63 Iraqis – that was a home to the virus, especially students, including college students who decided to study in China according to A joint agreement between the Shiite Endowment Bureau and the People’s Republic of China was signed recently.
For his part, Al-Sahaf welcomed the visit and institutional communication with the Shiite Endowment Office and the College of Imam Al-Kadim (A.S.), and gave Al-Khaqani a review of the ministry’s programs, especially those related to strengthening the culture of the national participant with other institutions of the Iraqi state, foremost of which is the Shi’ite Endowment, and on the subject of the Corona Virus. His ministry has taken all the facilities that would ensure the health of the Iraqis and their safe return to the homeland, noting that the ministry has begun transferring Iraqis residing in China, specifically the city of Wuhan, to Iran as a first step to conduct the necessary checks and verify that they are not infected with a Virus and then take them to the homeland.
